Using Cisco VPN client trying to connect to VPN
concentrator. we do it all the time on XP Pro and Win2k
machines. Settings are all identical yet i can't connect
to the CISCO concentrator on my XP Home machine.
I'm told IPSec service needs to be running. i start it
and get:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7023
Date: 10/19/2003
Time: 3:48:59 PM
User: N/A
Computer: BIEGNER
Description:
The IPSEC Services service terminated with the following
error:
Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network
address/port) is normally permitted.
any ideas? is it possible XP Home can't be used to
connect to the VPN?
Thanks
