Has anyone out there installed HotBar on their computer? I
am a very new computer user and have installed this
program as it is so nice to have skins to change on
browser and nice backgrounds for e-mail. I was wondering
if this program causes problems on my pc. I have a HP
Pavillion with pre-installed windows xp. Would appreciate
any info on this program and whether I should keep it on
my computer. Many thanks for any help!!

Actually it is spyware.
It will slow the computer somewhat and you will get more ads targeted
to what you are looking at.:
Check this link:
http://www.aumha.org/a/noads.php
Run Ad-Aware (free version) or Spybot to check for spyware:
http://www.lavasoft.de/ (Update if you already have it)
Or
http://spybot.eon.net.au/ (Update if you already have it)

Also try read this: http://www.pchell.com/support/hotbar.shtml , it shows
what it is, and how to remove it.
