Hey all,
I have a client whoin there great wisdom has bought new
computers for his business with Win XP Home Edition. He
has been running this way for several months now. Lately
the three XP Home Edition computers have stopped being
able to access the network PROPERLY. It seems there is a
large (and I mean large) delay between the time you click
on a mapped drive or network share and the time it
appears. A lot of the time it just times out or freezes.
The network shares are on another XP home edition box or a
98 box. Either way! Access to the Internet is not a
problem and the speeds are fine. It seems the ntwork
itself is okay...only the file sharing is a problem.
I'll take any suggestions on this one.
