problem in windows xp with network

I have some problem in windows xp. this pc is not showing
the windows 98. only show in windows xp and 2000. in this
system install tcp/ip protocol and netbeui protocol and
fixed ip address. pls. give me some solutions.

sounds like name resolution issue. I would try to enable netbios over tcp/ip
on xp first
