I haven't seen the Microsoft Interactive tutorial firsthand yet but that's
what it is: A tutorial that will walk you some of the features of XP: new
features, basic operations, etc. If it's not apparent what to do next after
starting the program, press F1 to pop up its help file.

The newer version of Word is also an addon by your computer manufacturer. It
is a part of Office, not Windows. I found the new interface for Word Art to
be a little tricky at first too. Sometimes "new" just takes a while to get
used to.

The Old English font is not a standard font that is included with Word or
Windows. When you install software that includes that font, it will be added
to your system. Microsoft Products that include this font are: Greetings 99,
Home Publishing 99, Office 97 SBE SR2, Picture It! (2000 and 2002),
Publisher (2000 and 98). If you own any of these programs and can find the
font on program's installation CD, copy the font to your XP system and
install it.

I have the MS Interactive Training program, and it's an excellent
introduction to Win XP. Easy to use and covers a lot of ground.

messenger is 'instant/interactive chat' w/another
