Hi,
Had an e-mail today(???), telling me to d/load "May 2003,
cumulative patch". First I've ever heard of m/soft
contacting you by e-mail !
I assume this is the load of bollix I think it is ? Be
warned folks !!

You are correct MS does NOT contact anyone by e-mail concerning updates.
Delete the e-mail.

It's a virus, delete it immediately.
MS never sends updates as attachments via email.

Actually you can subscribe to security bulletins (I got a few this
week), but they NEVER come with an attachment.

On the very rare occasion Microsoft sends a patch, you would know
exactly what it is and you would be expecting it.
