I installed xp and had to reinstall the WorksSuite. Now
my Word program wants it's product key number before I can
use the program. The WorksSuite was originally installed
at Dell, where I purchased the computer. I have the
installation cds, but there is no product key number. Is
there a way I can use the Word program without this number?

You must have a valid Product Key (license) in order to
install and use WorksSuite. You will need to contact
Dell support for assistance in obtaining a Product
Key replacement.

Look through the papers that came with your Dell computer. You should have a
COA for Word with the product key. Else, as suggested call Dell.

If you got the installation CDs from Dell (or any other PC =
manufacturer), you should have gotten them in a manila colored packet, =
with the product key on it. The key will be on a label called =
"Certificate of Authenticity".
