Windows XP and Road Runner

Hello, I don't know if anyone can help me or not, but if
someone can I would really appreciate it. I got a new
computer system with windows xp on it last week. I have
also been a Road Runner High Speed Internet subscriber
for quite some time. Now that I have the new operating
system, my Road Runner no longer works. I have been on
the phone with technicians from Road Runner for a week
now. The last technician I spoke to says that I have vpn
tunneling and that is preventing my road runner from
working. I would like to find a way to resolve this. I
am currently on a dialup connection and for the amount of
time my family uses the computer, dialup is not the most
economical solution. I have only a basic knowledge of
computers so whomever responds to this message, please
bare with me.
