I'm a first time user of Windows XP. When I receive an
email with an attachment (paperclip)on Outlook Express, I
can't bring up the attachment. Two boxes appear at the
top right of the message. The top box shows the subject
followed by a .WPD (xxxKB). The lower one says "Save
Attachment"
Left or right clicking does no good. How do I print the
attachment? The sender is using Word.
Your help will be appreciated. John

If you can't download and save the attachments, then your security settings
are probably set so you can't save files.
Try this:
1: Open Outlook Express
2: Click on Tools
3: Click on Options
4: Press theSecurity Tab
5: Under the Heading Virus Protection, uncheck: "Do not allow attachments to
be saved..."

WPD is the WordPerfect extension. You must have WordPerfect to open it.
Ask the sender to send as html (open with IE Explorer), or text
(Notepad).
