add/remove programs list

I've uninstalled a program from my computer but its name
still appears in the add/remove programs list. How may I
clean it from there?

Try removing the uninstalled application again from Add/Remove programs
itself. This may remove the entry from the list.

If the above one doesn't help, open regedit and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall.
Delete the entry that belongs to the uninstalled application. But, before
you do so, you may want to export that entry to a file so that you can undo
the delete if a wrong entry was removed by mistake.

Download and install Add / Remove Pro. It's a lot more effective at
completely removing programs when uninstalling. I can't find the URL for
the download but you can do a simple search @ Google for it!
