i have upgraded my computer with a new motherboard . I
install the old drive from my old pc running same os
windows xp and it wont boot to the drvie it worked on my
old motherboard, i have tryed in all the modes safe it
will flash a blue screen with writing on so fast you
can't read it and reboot to boot menu screen normal or
safe mode.what is wrong?also i have a new hard drive that
i would like to transfer all my files and setting from
the old one to the new one how do you do it?I would like
to put my old drive in my new system with all my software
and setting on it if there is a way with windows xp

Replacing the Motherboard usually requires a repair installation of XP
because the old drive still contains the drivers and information from the
old board.. See the following website for instructions.

Most newer hard drives include a utility that will transfer the contents of
the old HDD to the new one. Check the documentation for the new drive.
