Hi All
My problem here is a bit complicated and it is not about windows xp
specially
I have windows xp installed on my machine's hard disk drive on drive D:
which is a NTFS drive and I have also windows 98 installed on my drive C:
which is a FAT drive
the problem arises when I wanted to format drive D: which contains the
windows xp system to reinstall windows xp again (I need to make a clear new
installation on an empty drive)
and I don't know how to access the NTFS drive and format it and start a new
installation which will not be avaialbe through windows 98 that can't deal
with the NTFS drives
thanks in advance

Hi,
Boot the WinXP CD and begin a new installation, you can format D as part =
of the setup routine.

No need to start within Win98, setup will still see the Win98 system and =
create the dual boot. Even if it missed it (unlikely), you can always =
run bootcfg to add it.
