I have AOL and in order to use the live help, I need to
enable java, but when I followed the directions to do
this, I couldn't do it. It would jump back to disabled.
Somebody told me that in Windows XP that you might have to
download and install the Microsoft VM, but I can't seem to
find it. Does anyone know how to do this?

Anne;
Microsoft is removing Microsoft Virtual Machine from its websites and
stopping distribution because of a court order:
http://www.microsoft.com/java/
You can download Sun Java here:

Anne... Did you ever wonder about the wisdom of an online company running
live tech support on the web? Especially a company like AOL that has their
own chat rooms within the AOL sandbox environment (not on the internet). If
you're having trouble with your internet connection... How the heck are you
supposed to get to live help? (Jupiter's advice *will* head you in the right
direction.) You could call their technical support I guess but to me that
whole live help thing is beyond silly.
