Question: I have assumed admin duties for a four site VPN.
Total of 45 machines. 42 XP Pro, 1 XP Home, and One DC at
the hub site. In any event, the sites are all using DHCP
from the routefinders associated with the VPN. Question is,
we need to do LPR printing. This uses the netbios name to
print to a print server. Netbios name resolution is slow.
Each time someone reboots,or adds a device, the process
appears to restart. Should I add a WINS device. Should each
site on the VPN have such a device.
