tab key not working in forms

I used to be able to navigate thru forms with my tab key.
Recently, that has stopped working (on all forms) & the
tab key takes me to the internet address line. I'm
running XP. Any suggestions for a non-techie?

Does your tab key work in word documents? Maybe your tab key on your
keyboard is malfuntioning. Try another keyboard if available.
