I JUST GOT WINDOWS XP TWO WEEKS AGO. BUT SOME HOW WHEN I
WAS DOING WORK IT CRASHED. IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THE
FILES THAT ARE GONE BACK?

What exactly happened?

Did you reload Windows XPO?
If so, how?
Clean Installation?
Same or different partition?

One of these may help:
Always check the Recycle Bin first.
If the file is there, right click the file then click Restore.

It is important not to do anything with the computer until a decision
is made.
Every boot and even every keystroke potentially permanently destroys
the data.

Some 3rd party tools such as Norton System Works have utilities like
"Norton Protected Recycle Bin"
Check you documentation if you think you may have this capability.
