Today I upgraded (actually, a clean install) to xp and
all seemed well until I
realized that my mouse wouldn't work. I should point out
that during the installation the following files could not
be copied (usbcamd.sys, usbcamd2.sys, usbintel.sys,
tsbvcap.sys, and tsbyuv.dll). I checked the usb
status in device manager and it shows no driver installed
and when I try to update or install one I get an error
stating that there was a problem installing this device:
Intel(r) 82801 ba\bam usb universal host controller
The data is invalid.....

I am at a loss as to how to correct this. I have had
windows me for two years on this system. I would hate to
have
this problem force me back to ME... Thanks in advance...

In need of help...
Sean

Hi,

Start/run (Winkey+r, or ctrl+escape/r), type in "sfc /scannow" (without =
the quotes), tab once to "ok" and press <enter>. You will need to insert =
your WinXP CD and reboot when finished.
