VPN Connection Problem - Windows XP Home

While configuring a VPN connection in Windows XP Home, in
the VPN Properties, OPTION tab, under DIALING OPTIONS, I
can check the "Display progress while connection" box,
but the next two choices,"prompt for name and password,
certificate, etc" and"Include Windows logon domain"
choices are not avaiable (grayed out). Nothing that I
have tried has corrected this problem. Any suggestions?
