My comp got some virus so i decide to use recovery disk
to restore to factory state. After i restore the comp i
try to UPGRADE to Window XP. Somehow the disk dont work
in my CD drive. i tried many times. Then i decide i may
have more luck with a new instillation of window XP. Its
ask me if which hard drive do i want to instill(i have 2
hard drives, the big one has all the programs and the
small one has some system information like system
restore.) I said i want to instill in the smaller drive.
It did a full instillation. the when i reboot i found 2
operation systems. one XP and one ME. i only want one
operation system, so i upgrade my ME to XP and try to
reformat my smaller drive where the first XP was
instilled. Now i have 2 operation system but one dont
work and the other one have 2 local hard drive and
instill everything to the smaller drive. I try to use the
Recovery disk to restore my comp but it dont work. SO
HELP ME delete everything so i can start over. how can i
delete all operation systems? on my comp?

David;
Disconnect all peripherals (camera, printer, scanner, etc)
Go to BIOS and set CDROM as boot device before hard drive.
Insert Windows XP CD and reboot.
At "Press any key to boot to CDROM" quickly press a key and follow the
prompts for a Clean installation:
http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_sg_clean.asp
Delete all partitions in step 5 if you desire to erase all data on the
hard drive.
Partitioning and formatting will be done automatically.
All data will be destroyed, back-up important data first.

If your computer was shipped with Windows XP, these procedures may or
may not apply.
Check your manual or contact the computer manufacturer for more
details.
