i have just reformatted my hard drive and put on windows
xp professional when i run norton utilities win doctor it
comes up with 55 problems 44 being activex|com missing
windows registery files other problems are microsoft
shared missing .dll's if i let norton fix these i then get
alot of program errors what can i do or what maybe causing
these problems i had the same thing when i was running
win98se there don't seem to be any hardware conflicts etc.
please help thanks

Look at your keyboard. You will find several amazing keys such as Shift,
Period, Comma etc.

Run Win Doctor again and use the undo function to fix your Win Doctor
errors.

Uninstall Norton Utilities.

Have you installed Windows XP Sp1 and all other Critical windows XP
updates? I use Norton System Works 2003 with complete success
