Hi - I'd be really grateful if anyone had any advice on this. I have
recently installed XPPro and wanted to burn some of my music from the
harddrive onto a CD. The XP media player was happy to do this BUT I want
the CDs to play on normal CD players however XP very kindly changed all the
files to WMA format! Is there an option I'm missing that allows you to
specify that you want to create an audio CD? I couldn't see it.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

To create your own Audio or Data CD
1.. Click Copy to CD or Device from the taskbar.
2.. In the Items to Copy pane, select the playlist or category of tracks
that you want to copy from Media Library.
3.. If necessary, clear any check boxes for tracks you do not want to
copy.
4.. Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW in your CD-ROM drive.
5.. In the Items on Device pane, select the type of CD you wish to create.
6.. Click Copy.
