Hi I am using Windows XP, the included software to burn
CDs. At home i have no problem buring data disks. But the
knuclehead IT dude who put my system together at work has
made yet another issue I cannot fix. When I try to burn a
data CD it will not let me burn folders, just files (in
other words I put 4 JPEGS into a folder and I cannot burn
it, if I burn the 4 seperate JPEGS I can) It doesn't fail
it just opens up the memo box and says, these files have
been written to your CD, these folders have not. Then
when I try to delete temporaries to be written, it tells
me I cannot because 1 is being used currently, although I
am not using it. I have to re-boot to clear temporary
files to be written to CD. Meanwhile, when I do burn a
jpeg, I usually get a message that says something
like, "some of the data cannot be copied and may be lost
do you wish to continue?" I say yes everytime and it all
seems ok in the end. I use this same software at home on
my personal and have no problem, it is obviuosly how he
put it together, any suggestions?

Thanks

What happens when you do the following:

Right click the directory you wish to burn and select 'Send to' ->
