Multiple Accounts in XP

Recently XP has begun dropping our dial-up network
connection when we switch between users. This is
something new, for the last year we have switched
between users with no loss of network. Has anyone
experienced this? I checked internet options settings for
my dialup and they are set correctly (to never drop the
connection when idle). Thoughts? Comments?
