Network issues

I have set up my network and did the network wizard with
xp pro. I cannot ping across my network but yet i can
access the internet through internet connection sharing.
I have dhcp enabled on both but it only sets up on one
the other sets up a private network config. Any help or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The first question I always ask is if you can ping. if not, compare ipconfig
/all or post it here.
