Somehow I have acquired a virus (Backdoor Worm) My
Protection program (AVG, caught it and deleted ir, but NOT
before the system created a restore point. Now the virus
is in a restore file, and it is unavailable to ether AVG
or Norton as it is a protected file and it just waiting
passivly and not causing any probles. How would I delete
ALL existing restore points
Thanks

Disable System Restore. Restart. This will flush out the old restore points.
Enable System Restore again.

another option would be to create first a restore point and then, delete all
other restore points:

to delete all the other system restore points aside from the last:
open disk cleanup
choose your drive if you have more than one
click more options tab
click clean up...under system restore
click yes.

that should do it.
