i want to share an internet connection on a windows 2000
machine with 2 other machines running windows xp pro. all
three are connected to a hub and are on the same workgroup
with no domain.
i can connection share between the 2 xp machines fine, but
when i enable ICS on the connection on the win2k box it
throws an error about not being able to start due to a
conflict.
ok.. so then i tried to change the IP on one of the XP
machines to prevent a conflict and the network connections
properties didn't have the usual tcp/ip settings, it just
mentioned that the connection was bridged.
