Taskbar icon

Some how i lost my, (Stay current with automatic update) icon from my
taskbar. Can anyone tell me how to get it back there? I have gone into the
Taskbar and start menu properties. But it doesn't reinstall the icon to the
taskbar. Thanks for any help on this matter.

I only have an icon when there are updates to install. After I install them,
the icon goes away. Perhaps this is what you are seeing?
