Online icon removed?

Hi just a quick question. In the taskbar on the right
hand side there is normally an icon of two computers when
I am connected to the net. These blink alternatly
depending on whether data is being sent or received.
Somehow I must have removed them from the task bar and
they no longer appear when I'm online. - They are
not 'hidden'.
I would really like this feature back if you could help
me.

hi, select settting in the start menu, select your current network
connection, select general, select properties, at the bottom put a check in
the box for show icon..., select OK
