Being fairly new to XP Home, I'm only just getting accounts set up for
other family members on our PC.

Having created an account for my son, I'm getting a problem with web
pages and IE6 on his account.

For example, on http://www.yahoo.com if he enters text into the search
bar and clicks on <Search>, nothing happens (not even a flicker of modem
activity).

Similarly with the <Search> and <I feel lucky> buttons on Google.

Using an alternate browser (Avant Browser) which uses much of IE6
underlying code, there are no such problems and buttons all work
flawlessly.

The problem exists whether his account is set to 'administrator' or
'limited' so I'm assuming that it is not a permissions problem.

All help and suggestions appreciated.
