Can someone enligthen me?
Why is it that I can sometimes view all the workgroups on
a network and sometimes I only see my computer only. I
didn't change anything (IP information). I'm using Win
XP Home.
For example, our company makes a machine that uses one
single network that ties a PC and several PLC units
(172.16.60.XXX). I would have to change my IP settings
to connect to the network to communicate with the PLC
units.
When I click on My Network Places, sometimes I would be
able to view the entire network and access the PC's
workgroup and somtimes I only see my PC's workgroup.
