this problem is just baffleing me. i have a computer
running XP pro as an ICS host which connects to the
internet through a USB connection. it connects to the 98
SE computer through a crossover ethernet cable. i
currently have ICF disabled. the ICS now works fine, both
can acces the internet at a resonible speed. the 98
cannot see the XP in my network places and XP can see it
but when i try to access it a windows pops up and says
that the network path was not found. the internet gateway
in 98 says unconfigured, even though it can access the
internet. 1 in every 1o times i go to my network places
in 98, it can see the xp but does not have the permission
