Networking Xp and ME

I have a XP and an ME machine and i would like to network
them. I have heard that this combination will not work. If
it will i would like to know how to set up my network. I
only want to be able to share files and play games across
the 2 computers, they will not share internet connections.
If you can help me please do. Thank you

Yes you can network any windows version to any other without problems. Try
