keyboard

My keyboard was not working properley, Icould not get the
@ sign . I had to press the shift button and the number
2, and also i cannot get the pound sign. I bought the new
keyboard hoping these things would go away. But they
continue to be the same. Could anybody tell me the
remedy,or what is happening. thanks

Hi ya
Go into your control panel and click onto the Icon : Regional and Language
Options: you may have English (United States) when it should be English
(United Kingdom).Hopes this helps, regards.
