Hi Roy,
Are you using the software that came with your cam? It automatically sets up
an account at a default site. That's probably the easiest method. Although,
I avoided it after joining, seems mostly porn wanna-be stars go there.
If you have an ISP account that provides webspace for your pics and stuff,
point your cam there.
Or, try www.coffeecup.com and download and install their Webcam 3.5
software. It has a wizard that will create an html page for you to upload to
your site. It's free to use for 21 days. By then you'll know whether you
want to buy it or try something else or...gawd forbid, write your own code.
In 21 days you can become a cam expert.
Good luck.

Have you tried using Windows Messenger? You say you've exhausted yourself,
but you never know. My Web cam came with software too, but I prefer WIndows
Messenger for sending video...You can also try to capture video using
Windows Movie Maker. Just click Capture Video and select your Web cam from
the list. It should pop right up.
