View Full Version : Canon F30 printer causing error

Hi I have a problem I believe is tied to my Microsoft networking. According
to their information the F 30 can not be a shared printer. So in both
machines I disabled the shared printing. The printers are connected to both
computers by USB to one and cable to the other. ( TO make it work with both
machines on, I had to shut the printer down in the other machine that I did
not want to print from at the time, clumsy but it did work until I replaced
both computers). However both the previous computers were running xp
networked together

My problem is 2 fold. The first problem is if I open my network connections
I get a error saying Windows explorer has encountered a problem and must
close ( it shows a error in the msvcrt.dll)

The second problem is I have to reactivate my mpservice through the control
panel

Is there a fix for this problem?

Thanks
Rick
