I have just "upgraded" to Windows XP OS from Windows ME.
The problem that I am having is networking between to
computers both of which have Windows XP OS. I am using
an ethernet connection via a router that is also hooked
up to the cable modem. Neither connection is via a
computer. I am able to get to the internet via both
computers but I am not able to see the printer from the
other computer. Any suggestions or help would be
appreciated. Thank you.

Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on both computers and tell it that they
connect to the Internet through a residential gateway (router):
