Dear sirs.
I have Win XP home. And for NO changes I am aware of my
computer does the same thing. I have a AMD 2.0 Gig CPU
512 meg mem, running xp home. IF I let it go thru all the
motions off shutting down it just gets to the last window
and sets there. If I turn it off at the Main power box (
for all my stuff ) it will restart just fine. But if I
hit reset it goes in to scan dsk and restarts But never
turns off@#$%^! Have you found any thing out?? Please

but everthing is still running MBO all fans.The screen
says shutting down.Put Windows XP on an other HD
Maxtor,Same thing. Put windows 98 SEC. on third HD and it
shuts Down!!! Great, that should mean that the computer
is fine. But why does Windows XP Pro. not work. IT did
once before on the same computer.
