The update you are talking about is the .net engine. It
made another user account that you can delete to fix this.

That would make since if it wasn't checked
>then I wouldn't get the screen to log on, the Welcome
Screen. When its unchecked you cant check the other box.

>Also now when I press Ctrl-Alt-Del I don't get the Task
Manager anymore. I am presented with Windows Security
window with 6 buttons I can press and one is

right up, it doesn't anymore.

>Even the Shutdown Window has changed. It is a window that
has the WinXP logo and a drop down box to make your
selection. When I select Restart or even shut the PC down
and turn it back on, it will NEVER boot to my desktop.
>
>It boots to a Log On screen, NOT the Welcome screen. This
logon screen has my username already in the Username field
and the Password field is blank. I do NOT have a PW, so I
click OK and then it finishes the boot up.
>
>What the hell changed and how do I get it back to where
it was, being able to boot up automatically and being able
to get the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del once?

>Thanks
