Ok, this may be a dumb question, but I have searched and
not found the answer.

How can I view the Internet Explorer History file? I was
able to view it on Windows ME by right clicking on the
start button, selecting explore and there it was under
c:/winnt/temp. All I did was click on the History file
and I could view what internet pages were opened by this
computer for the last week or so.

I can't seem to be able to do the same in XP. I found a
history file, but I can not gain acess to it or open it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TIA
Susan

Hi,

In XP ur settings are saved on a user based settings.
hence u have to go to "C:\Documents and Settings\<Your
login>\Local Settings" and view the folders that apply
for a user.
