When I click on Start, and then Programs, I have too many
programs to fit on the screen. How do I 'scroll' to the
right to see the rest of the programs? I've tried to
cursor arrow keys and various things with the mouse, but
haven't found anything that works. Any advice?

You can go in and group your start menu. Just right click on the start menu
and select Explore All Users to see the programs installed for everyone to
use. Select Explore to see the programs installed just for you to use. Then,
you can create new folders and place your items in there. For example, I put
all of my games into a Games folder, all of my Applications into an
Applications folder, and so on.

Right click on the start button and go to properties.
Next click on Advanced.
Next Arrow down and make sure "scroll programs" is checked.
This will allow you to use the arrow to scroll down.
