I have a copy of xp pro (120 day evaluation)from microsoft
so I can run the onenote beta It will not install.I ran
the hardware wizard and it said everything was compatible
except for cannon bj printer (i have updated driver for
it).I unhooked printer b4 instll also.I keep getting
irql_not_less_or_equal stop error.I have done upgrade
install and fresh install, neither work.I have the
following in my pc mobo=FIC va503+...ati 3D Rage Pro PCI
video card...Ess solo 1869 sound card...some older stuff
thats not compatible but I have disconnected b4 installing
xp pro.I was thinking it might have been my video card so
I looked for updated drivers but I cant seem to find one
for it.I have had these disks for almost 2 weeks now and I
do not know what to do.I also looked for a bios update but
there dosent seem to be one for this mobo. Can anyone
please help me figure this out ? Thanks in advance.

See MVP Jim Eshelman's web page for STOP errors at
http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm and click on the "0A: IRQL Not
Less/Equal" item at the top of the left column.

Good luck
