Windows Messenger

*start-> run type 'msconfig' in textbox then press
the 'enter'
*The "system Configuration Utility" box appears.
*Select the "startup" tab
This lists all the applications that launch on system
system startup / logon.
*Take the check box out of Msmessenger. (click on it)
*click the [apply] command button at bottom of box.
*click [close] command button,
*restart system.

.......... no more msmessenger at startup.
