I have two computers, one XP Pro (guest) and one one XP
Home (host). The problem is that the guest can't connect
to the host using DirectParallel. The guest shows this
error:
Error 721: The remote computer did not response. For
further assistance, click More Info or search Help and
Support Center for this error number.
Is there something wrong with my configuration? I
followed the step-by-step configuration provided by
Microsoft in the Knowledge Base (KB) number 814981 to
814988 which are:
814981 How to Configure a Direct Cable Connection with
Windows XP Home Edition (PART 1)
814982 How to Configure a Direct Cable Connection with
Windows XP Home Edition (PART 2)
814984 How to Configure a Direct Cable Connection with
Windows XP Home Edition (PART 4)
814985 How to Configure a Direct Cable Connection with
Windows XP Home Edition (PART 5)
814986 How to Configure a Direct Cable Connection with
Windows XP Home Edition (PART 6)
814987 How to Configure a Direct Cable Connection with
Windows XP Home Edition (PART 7)

Windows XP Home Edition (PART 8)
