cannot pull articles from newslettters such as forbes, md health etc.

i recently purchased a used presario 2700 laptop with the
xp home operating system. i had previously had a laptop
with windows 98se. i like the system but i am having
trouble pulling up articles from within a newsletter such
as forbes, webmd, etc. when i point the cursor on the
article i would like to read, nothing happens. i single
click and double click with no results. i have no trouble
pulling up a regular website. i would appreciate any
suggestions. we live most of the year in southern spain on
the costa del sol.

I had the same problem, except that when I tried to pull
articles from newsletters in my house, which has a brown
roof, it wouldn't work. When I went to my friend's house,
which has a blue roof, it worked just fine. So now I have
to get a new roof so I can read the frickin' articles.
If I were you, I would try it from somewhere other than
Spain--maybe Poland or the Netherlands.
