How to access newsgroups?

I just bought a pc and am having trouble accessing the
newsgroups that were easy for me to access on webtv. Does
anyone know how my news settings are supposed to be
configured so I can access them on MSN 8? THANKS.

If you're talking about usenet newsgroups (since you appear to have found
the MS groups without any problem), you should contact your ISP for your
news server settings.
