Under LogOn there is only Autologon and Unread Mail - nothing about
Administrator.

There is no setting in TweakUI that will allow you to log on
as the administrator.....you must log on conventionally by=20
pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del twice while booting up to the Welcome
screen.

On my copy of Tweak UiXP when you highlight Logon it lists "Show =
"Administrator" on Welcome screen". The Description box states "The =
Administrator account is normally suppressed. Check this box to allow =
it to be shown on the Welcome screen."

I did, and it does.

Jupiter, There is no such option in the right pane. There is:

1. Parse Autoexec.bat at loggon
2. Show " N" on Welcome Screen N being a named used
3. Show " N" on Welcome Screen
4. Show " N" on Welcome Screen

all 4 boxes are ticked but there is no box for administrator.

I dont think the Show Administrator is available if you are using XP
Home. I think that option only shows up if you are using Pro.
Since the only way to log on to the administrator account in Home is
in safe mode.

Are you using Home by any chance?

Peter;
I just checked with a Windows XP Home computer and that option is not
available, it is available on Windows XP Pro.
You have Windows XP Home?
