I have Win XP (Pro) on both my home and work PC's. However on my home PC
the drop down menus on the left side of 'My Computer' 'My Pictures' etc is
not present. It's the one that has headings like 'System tasks', 'Other
Places', 'Details' and has a blue background.
It's probably something to do with my settings but I can't see what I need
to do to get it to show.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks - Keith

Hi Keith,
I believe what you are looking for is this:
Click Start - My Computer. On the menu bar, click Tools - Folder Options.
On the General Tab, under Tasks Check the radio button for "Show common
tasks in folders"
Click Ok.
Your windows should now have that blue band showing up.
Hope this helps.
Thx,
Nico
