Windows turning off

When I shut down my computer it takes 10-15 Min. to shut
down. I have Windows XP W/SP1. This just started the
last few days. It there something hanging it up. I even
tried to shut it down manually and it wouldn't shut off.
I have closed all programs so nothing should be running.
Would appreciate any information on what to do to correct
this problem. Thank you in advance.

Sorry it took so long to respond, I found my trouble. I
had a conflict with my new keyboard from logitec, The
drivers were corrupt. Installed new ones and everything
is running smooth. Thank you for yur responce.
