Internet Gateway

hi ive tried to setup an internet gateway over a network, the
connection im trying to share is a 1mbit bb. dialup connection. the
gateway has sucessfully setup on another computer on the network. but
not mine ive tried to run the internet setup wizard and it makes no
difference. i have a vpn connection and also a modem but have disabled
the modem so not to confuse matters. can you surgest any manual setup
that i can do that will give me control of the connection with a icon
in network connection.

The usual problem is a firewall is blocking communication between the host
and the client.

Also make sure the SSDP Simple Service Discovery Protocol service is running
on both machines.

Make sure the Internet Gateway Discovery and Control Client in installed, in
Networking Optional Components.
