ASP.NET

I recently went to change my password in user accounts.
To my surprise there was an user account that I did not
set up nor new anything about being set up. I am only
other user besides my other unknown account, also the
only Adminastrator set up on this machine, (gateway 3600
pentium 4 running Windows X.P.). The Name of this other
User Account Is exactly =ASP.NET Machine A...= And this
machine is networked with our second Machine but the
second machine has no unidentified user accounts. I am
really green or newbie. So please explain in windows for
dummys english, in other words I do not understand
computer lingo. Thks. in advance for any help associated
with my account.

Hi Mike,

The account is created when you install the .Net Framework via Windows
Update. The account is created for viewing/debugging ASP.Net pages. If
you are not developing ASP.Net pages, the account is used whenever you
navigate to an ASP.Net page so that you are able to view and access the
page. On a Pro machine running IIS, it will also act so that you can debug
your application.
